MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
The Lily of the Valley Lodge, 1.0. G.T., held their weeklv meeting hst night in the Oddfellows' Half. Bro. R. M'Kinlay, C.T., occupying the chair. Tliere was a very largo attendance. One candidate was elected and initiated into the Order. Bro. M'lntosh (Mutual Help Lodge, Melbourne) conveyed fraternal greetings from that lodge. It was decided to invite the Crystal Spring Juvenile Temple to supply the programme for next meeting. Tho item on the syllabus being "Irish Night," Bro. M'Connell took charge cf the meeting, and carried cut a musical programme. Bro. Mackay acted as accompanist. The visitors' vote was responded to by Bro. Mann (Alliance), Bro. Butteifield (Ark of Love). Bro. Sandilands (Hope of Dunedin), Bro. Baxter (Geraldine), and Bro. M'lntosh (Melbourne).
