The Maxmka left the tongue wharf at 5 p.m. yesterday, and 6ailed for Sydney via Auckland. According to the ' New Zealand Gazette,' repairs are about to he effected to the Akaroa Head light. To enable them to be carried cat, the flatsliing light will l>o replaced for about- fourteen days by a fixed white light, visible about twesntythxee miles from a vessel's deck, in clear weather.
