The following changes in the position ot local Catholic clergy are announced.—Rev. Father Geary from Lawrence to South Dunedin; Rev. Father Corcoran from South Dunedin to St. Joseph’s Cathedral; Rev. J. O’Reilly from Oaanaru to St. Joseph’s Cathedral; Rev. P. O’Neill from Gore to Oamaru; Rev. D. O’Neill from SL Joseph’s Cathedral to Gore ; Rev. J. O’Malley from 3b. Joseph’s Cathedral to Invercargill; Rev. John Lynch from Invercargill to Lawrence. The employees of the Union Steam Ship Company presented Mr R. A. Bach, the company’s representative at tire Bluff, with a marble clock, suitably inscribed, on the occasion of his marriage to Miss Catherine Frances Fraser, which took place at St. Joseph’s Cathedral yesterday. Mr J. Smaill, wire has been in the service of the Dock Trust for several years, was yesterday appointed by that body chief engineer of their works. Sir Joseph Ward this morning left for Winten, where he is to ho feted by his constituents to-night. He reaches Dunedin by the second express to-morrow, and goes on to Wellington on Saturday. A Christchurch message states that Mr Kinsella, Dairy Commissioner, will attend the annual Daily' Produce Grading Conference at the Bluff on February 5, and the following day will give an address at Wyndham. Hiy Honor Mr Justice Williams left for the North this afternoon en route for the Old Country. Among those who saw His Honor off were the Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) and Lady Stout, Mr Justice Chapman, and Mr J. H. Hosking (president of the La-w Society),
