REMEMBERING THE POOR
Baron Nathaniel von Rothschild, of Vienna, who died on June 12, appointed as his sole executor his brother. Baron Albert .Solomon r.cthschild, by whom the value of the English estate is sworn at £25,634. The testator bequeathed : 10.000,000 florins (£800,000) to any charitable institution that shall be. established under his name, and shall permanently bear that name, having chiefly in view "the making provision for sufferers from chronic or incurable maladies. 1.000,000 florins (£o0,000) for distribution among charitable institutions in Vienna.
20,000 florins (£1,600) for distribution by the Imperial and Royal Govemshig at Vienna among the poor of Vienna, without distinction as to creed. 40,000 marks (£2,000) to the Poor Fund of Schillersdorf. 40,000 marks (£2.000) to tho OharJoU tenstift at Hultsohmi. 20,000 marks (£1,000) for distribution amongst tbe needy on the manor of iSchillersdorf. 10,00u florins (£800) lor distribution among the poor and needy of Enzesfeld. As regards the bequest of one million florins, the testator wished to include as participants societies that work for charitable purposes of common utility.
