MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES
The weekly meeting of the Rescue Lodge, LO.G.T., was held in their lodge room. South Dunedin, when, despite the unfavorable weather, there was a good attendance. Bro. A. Thomas, C.T., presided. The main business of the evening was the election of officers, which, after keen contests, resulted as follows :—C.T., Bro. J. Bosevear; P.C.T., Bro. A. Thomas; V.T., Sis. F. Rainham ; secretary, Sis. R. Watling; chaplain, Sis. Williams (re-elected) ; financial secretary, Bro. J. Restieaax; treasurer, Bro. W. Boss; marshal, Bro. W. Bosevear; G., Bro. W. Dennison; sentinel, Bro. Higham; reporter, Bro. John Breach; organist, Bro. Hodges (both re-elected).
