TO THIC EDITOa. Sir, —I msh to thank your correspondent, W. D. Ma.'on, wliose reasonable letter lus so thoroughly esposed the slanders which Mr G. B. Kicholls appears to delight iu. Will ho now deny that the town he referred to was Middle-march? If Mr Nicholls will not apologise {or his statement, as well aa withdraw the whole of the slander in toto, be musffeither sub tantiate •what he said or the community will only have just reasons to believe that hb charges were made knowing them to be untrue.—i ■uo, etc., Wu.
