Mails clom at the Chief Pot* Office, Dunedin, as under : Overland, Northern ports, Christchurch, and intermediate offises, daily, 6.30 a.m. Late letters, 7.40; alio on the mail van up to 8 a-m. For second express for Paimerston, Oamaru, Waimate, Timani, Ashburton, and Christchurch, at 12.45 p.m. Also Northern potts at 12.45 p.m. on Saturday. For Greymouth, Hokitika, and Reefton, Monday and Thursday, at 12.45 p.m. For South express trains at 7..5Q a.m. and 5 p.m. Late-fee letters must bear, in a—job to the ordinary postage, Id. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4. Supplementary mails for America, the United Kingdom, Continent of Euroce, etc., will close at 6.30 a.m. Late-fee letters at C.P.O. at 7.40 a.m. and North express at 8 a-m. 'loe above mails are due in London on the 4th November. VANCOUVER SERVICE. The Moura will leave Auckland on the 4th October at 12.45 p.m., connecting with the Vancouver steamer at Fiji. Correspondence to be specially addressed. Due in London Bth November. Mails far Roxotonga, Tahiti, and Peurhyn Islands, per Taviuni, close at Auckland on the 4th October, at 10.45 a.m. Mails for Cromarty, Puysegur Point, and Te Oneroa close at Invercargul on the 4th inst. at 8 p.m., per Rimu. Mails for Fanning Island, ner Moura, dose at Auckland on the 4th at 12.45 p.m. Mails from Melbourne for Durban and Cape Town, per Aberdeen via Fremantle on the 6th October; Medic 13th, via Albany; Cufic, 20th; Nineveh, 27th, via Fremantle. The Corinthic will leave Wellington for London via Monte Video and Teneriffe an the 10th at 7.45 p.m. Correspondence for the United Kingdom, specially addressed, will close at this office on the 9th at 6.30 ajn.
