Dr Hoeken said he was glad to note that tho trouble regarding the students ami the St. Helens Hospital was in a fair way to he got over. The Premier had intimated that permission and assistance would bs-given to convert the disused Women's Refuge into a maternity home iu wliich students could be admitted. As they had got so far, it seemed to him that they might with advantage approach the hospital authorities and see if Ihe Home could not be established at the hospital.
