PROPERTY SALE. Acting under instructions from the Re« gistrar of the Supreme Court, Messrs D. M. Fea and Co. to-day offered for sale a dwelling in Marytuu, standing oh lr 5.i5p of land. There was a good attendance, and bidding was spirited. The property was bought in by the mortgagee (Mr F. Z. Moore), as agent, at £l6O.

GRAIN AND PRODUCE REPORTS

Dalgefy and Co. report having held their weekly sale of grain, etc., at their store* to-day. There was a fair attendance of buyers, and competition for the various lots was good. With tljo exception of one truck of chaff the whole of the catalogue sold at auction at full market rates. Prices ruled as under:— Oats.—There is a fair inquiry for coastal shipment. Bright heavy Gartons are most in demand, but few lines of this clans arc offering. The demand for feed lines is still pood, and lato values are well maintained. We quote: Prime milling and seed lines. Is Bi<] to 2s 2d; good to lx>st feed, U 7d to Is 8d; inferior and medium, Is 5d to Is 6Jd per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat.—Tiiere is not tlio same quantity of .prime milling wheat now offering, and-»t present rates many holders are not dispossd to sell. Prime velvet and Tuscan sells readily at quotations. Medium milling is more or less neglected, whilo sales of fowl wheat axe still confined to small lots for local consumption. We quote: Prime milling, 3s to 3s'2d; medium, 2s lOd to 2$ lid : best whole fowl wheat. 2s 8d to 'i&s'JM; broken and damaged, 2s 54 to 2s 7d "per bushel (sacks extra). *' Potatoes.—Consignments have fallen away during the past week and the marked ia now bare of supplies, and prices realised at auction to-day show an advance in values of from 15s to 20s per ton om prices ruling last week. On account, probably, of the alteration of tho day of sale owing to Monday being a holiday, there was only a moderate attendance of buyers. To these we submitted a representative catalogue, mads up of feed oats, fcwl wheat, potatoes, carrots, chaff, hay, and turnips. For nearly all the lines on offer there was fair competition, an 4 prices throughout compared favorably with late quotations. Values ruled as under : Oata.—There has been a steady demand for "A" and "B" grade Gartons during tho past week, and, although sparrowbills are not so much favored, nearly all lines coming to hand have been readily placed. We quote: Seed lines, Is lOd to 2? 24; prime milling, Is Bc| to Is 9d: good to best feed, Is 7d to Is 8d; inferior to medium, Is 4d to Is per bushel (saclfs extra). Wheat.—Although, no sales of any importance have taken place in milling quality,' a better tope pervades the marketi. Millers' inquiries are directed almost entirely towards prime quality.
