ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS’ SOCIETY.
About forty membara were present at the i opening meeting of the Dunedin Account- ; ant Students’ Society, held last evening. ' Mr Jas. Brown, FJ.A.N.Z., vice-president, ‘ was in the chair. Mr W. Brown, F.LA.N.Z., president'of r the society, delivered an address, in which he congratulated the society on their success I and the eagerness of members to extend I their knowledge. Ho combated the theory , that all wealtli came from land, and should l therefore be free to all The basic prinI ciple that all value came from labor was* also i false and misleading. Value depended on , demand, and the reciprocal of demand was i supply.
