CONCERT AT N.E. VALLEY.

The entertainment at St. Martin’s Schoolroom, North-east Valley, last evening proved in every way successful, there being a good attendance and a capital programme. Most of the songs wore given in costume, thus 1 eliding extra attractiveness to the evening’s amusement. The Drake family orchestra gave effective assistance, and Mr Taylor, F.R.C.0., played the accompaniments throughout. The programme was comprised of the following items:—Songs by the Misses Drake, E. Milward, and Heath, and by -Messrs W. Tattersfield, H. Drake, Muster E. Drake, and others, while vocal trios were, given by Miss Drake and Messrs H. and W. Drake, and also by Messrs H. and W. Drake and R. Steele. The Misses Tattersfield and Mr W. Tattersfield also took part in vocal duets, and recitations were supplied by Messrs R. Steele and R. Russell.
