CROWN LANDS.
A ballot was taken at the Crown Lands Office yesterday for the disposal of the of section 10, block 1, Tiger Hill district containing 48 acres 3 roods 25 poles. There were eight applicants for the section, the successful one being Margaret Donnelly. The following sections were disposed of without a ballot Vx-ing necessary :—Sections 24 and 25, K.omaka Township. Maniototo County, containing 20 acres 2 roods 24 poles, to John Edward Carvalho; sections 61, 52. and 53, block 6, Rankleburn, containing 27 acres 2 roods 1 pole, to Charles M'Govern ; bection 8, block 4, South Molyncux, containing 50 acres 3 roods 15 poles, to James Shiels; section 11, block 1, Tiger Hill district, containing 48 acres 3 poles, to Margaret Donnelly; section 24, block 9, Woodlands, to Lydia Shutt; section 12. block 15, Tuapeka, West, to Ann Campbell.
