ABOUT DUST TINS.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—lt is no doubt a wise provision against mishap that the buckets, etc., should be replaced within houre gates after beincr emptied by the dustman ; but when the dry ash tin is " slung " on to the " fronr door mat," bottom upwards, not bavins been thoroughly emptied, the mess made thereby may be more easily imagined thin described. In short, every time my dust is put out to be taken away means twenty minutes' work to clean up the mess made". A hint from the right quarter would be appreciated.—l am, etc, A Householder. April 7.
