Kconya (steam); Sarah and Mary, Isabella Anderson (sail). At Port Chalmers ; Waiwera, Eakanoa, Te Anan (steam); Oamaru (sail). East Capo reports that the Moura parsed couth at 9.45 a.m. today. The practice of launches running without: lights on the harbor after nightfall is exciting some comment. During the recent holidays a launch missed .contact with a jacht in the dark by not more than a foot or* two. As the launch was making over eight knots, and the cabin of the yacht (which was full at the time) had hut a narrow exit, a collision would probably have caused a fatality or two.

The torpedo boat, having been cleaned and painted, was floated off Isbister’s slip this morning.

The Ayrshire, having completed her local leading, left Port Chalmers for the Bluff yesterday afternoon. She is to leave the 331n1f for London direct on Tuesday morning. While at Port Chalmers she took in frozen mntton, wool, tallow, pelts, rabbitslrins, and fruit pclp. At the Bluff she will load wool, flax, and frozen meat. Tffie Dorset is due at Port Chakners for South African and West of England loading on Friday morning. She will probably get away again on the morning tide of the 11th inst., and after calling at Northern ports will rail from Wellington on tho IVth, proceeding to Hobart en route to South Africa. The Suffolk, from New York, will make Port Chalmers her first port of call, and will proceed thence to Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland in that order. She will probably be the May steamer for West, of England and South African loading. The A. and A. liner Bucerof has replaced the Bechnana on the loading berth at New York. She is to sail for New Zealand ports about the 30th inst

The Koonya continued discharging her coal cargo at tho Jetty street wharf to-day. She is to sail to-morrow afternoon for the West Coast via Oamaru and other way ports. Tne Warrimoo worked cargo at the cross wharf to-day. She proceeds to Port Chalmers to-morrow morning, and sails in the afternoon for Sydney via Cook SfcraiL The Tarawcra, from Auckland, is due at Dunedin about 8 a.m. to-morrow, and is to sail again on the return trip on Friday afternoon.

The Hawea is to leave the Bluff on Tuesday for Auckland. Her norts of call will ■be Camara, Timaru, Napier, and Gisborne. 'She will leave Oamaru on the 13th inst and 'Timaru on the 14th.

The Whangape loads at Oamaxu to-morrow rad at Timara on Friday, her destination being Sydney. Two firemen belonging- to tie Monowai arrived at the wharf at '•■ Wellington on Saturday afternoon to find that their vessel bad jest sailed, and was swinging about 400 yards_ away, preparatory to heading for sea - Both men dived off the wharf 3 and struck out for the vessel One men was socn in difficulties. He returned to the wharf, and was palled oat of the water by Constable hi Murphy and ltd collector G.
