OAMARU, April 6. The tennis tournament was continued ot Oamaru yesterday afternoon, and brought to a close this afternoon. The following were the results of the various finals:— Men’s Doubles Handicap —Appleby and Sutton beat Goss and Seay, 9—4. Men’s Singles (open).—Goss (Christchurch) beat Pearse (Waitohi), 6—2, 6—4. Ladies’ Doubles (open).—Misses Jameson end Van Asch (Christchurch) beat Misses Taylor and Hedley (Oamaru), 9—6. Men’s Singles Handicap.—Goss beat Pearse (scratch), 9—7. Ladies’ Singles Handicap.—Miss Jameson, 1 bye from Miss Taylor. Ladies’ Doubles Handicap.—Misses Jamelon and Jameson (Christchurch) beat Misses Hedley and Taylor, 9—6. Men’s Doubles (open).—Goss and Seay (Christchurch) beat Sumpter and Ducroz, 7—5, b-5. Combined Doubles.—Pearse and Miss 11‘Caskill (Temuka) beat Goss and Miss Van Asch, ILt-9. Ladies’ Singles (open).—Miss Jameson beat Miss Taylor, 9—7.
