The directors of the Kaikorai Tramway Company intimate their intention of iu future paying half-yearly dividends at the rate of 6 per cent, per annum or more, as the circumstances warrant. During the past financial year the traffic receipts were £6,464, against £5,866 for the previous year, being an increase of £593, and under normal conditions would have been nearer £BOO. The mileage run last year was 61,690, against _58,558 in 1902-05, being an increase of 3.532. The passengers carried totalled 528,203 up and 329,523 Mown, being increases of 54,061 and 36,551 reapec tively. THE GOLD EXPORT. WELLINGTON, April 6. The export of gold from the colonv last month totalled 45,0640z, valued at £172 877 as compared width 53.0990z, of the value of £202,474, in March last year. The total export of gold for the March quarter was 126,5990z, valued at £485,053, or 8,4920z more than in the corresponding quarter of last year. During last month 87,2560z of silver, of the value of £9,009, was also exported.
