Replying to a deputation from the Education Board on the subject of school srarAs. the Premier said that in future all" plans would have to be submitted to the Government architect for his approval before grant! would be made. The delav in making grauti available had been dne' to the fact" that all money allocated had been spent priol to application, while the grants had been anticipated to the extent of £7OO. School's in newly-settled districts would have pi inference in applications for special grants.
