CASUALTIES.
Margaret Holden, aged fifty years, wife of a Wellington blacksmith, was found drowned on the beach at Petone yesterday afternoon.
The inquest on the child found on the New Brighton (Christchnrrh) beach disclosed nothing new. At the request of the police it was adjourned till Tuesday. The medical evidence showed that the child had been dead a week, bat there was nothing to disclose the cause of death.
