A cartoon showing the Princess Ignites design for the bronze memorial to be exhibited in St. Paul’s Cathedral takes the form of an angel with outstretched wings leaning tenderly over the crucified Redeemer. This tablet commemorating the deeds of the colonial sons of the Empire in the Tate* war also bears as a quotation tbe words from the sth and 6th verses of the 43rd chapter of Isaiah: “ Fear not : for I am with thee : I will bring thy seed from the east and gather thee from the west; I will sav to the north. Give np; and to the south, Keen not hack: bring my sons Pom far. and my daughters from the end of the .arih.”
