Overland, North, daily, 10.10 a.m. Late letters, 10.45; also on the van up to 11 a.m. Books and newspapers, 9.40 ajo. Late-fee letters must bear, in addition to the ordinary postage, Id. TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27. For Lyttelton and Christchurch.—Per larawera, at 3 p~,m. Late letters, 4 p.m_, on board.
Mails for Rarotonga and Tahiti, per Countess of Rarrfurly, close at Auckland on the 27th, at 2 pjn. ThePapanui leaves Wellington for Loudon via Rio de Janeiro and Teneriffe on the 31st October, at noon. Correspondence for the United Kingdom to be specially addressed Due in London 10th December. Mails for Rarotonga, Tahiti, and Peirrhyn Islands, per Rotokino, close at Auckland 3rd Noranber, at 4 p.m. From Melbourne, for Albany, Natal, snd Cape Town, per Sa3ami3, 4th November.
