Books and newspapers, 9.40 a.m. Late-fee letters must bear, in addition to the ordinary postage, Id. THURSDAY, JULY 23. For Australian States.—Per North express, to connect with the Mokoia, at 9.50 urn. Late letters North express, 11 a. m. FRIDAY, JULY 24. For Lyttelton and Christchurch.—Per Te Anau, at 2 p-m. Late letters 3 p.m. (on board). SAN FRANCISCO MALL SERVICE. TUE3DAY7~JULy 28. For Northern Ports, Samoa,, Sandwich blinds, Japan. Philippine Islands, United States of America, Canada, South America, West Indies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe, at 9.50 a.m. Late letters, North express, 11 a. m. Money orders close at 4 p.m. on the 27th. Book packets and newspapers at 9 a. is. on the 28th. The above mail will close at the branch Pott Offices, North Dunedin, South Dunedin, Caversbam, and Roslyn, for money orders and registered letters" at 5 p.m. on the 27th, letters at 9.30 a.m. on the 28th, and newspapers at midnight on the 27th.' At the Port Chalmers Office at 8.45 a.m. on the 28th; money orders at 4 p.m. and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 27th. Due in London on the 29th August Mails for Rarotonga and Tahiti close at Auckland on the 22nd. Mails for Cromarty, PuyseguT Point, and Te Oneroa, per the s.s.
