To amend " The Dunedin Church Lands Ordinance, 1861," and " The Dunedin Presbyterian Church Lands Ordinance Amendment Ordinance, 1874,"' by declaring or enacting that the whole rents, profits, and proceeds now held, or which may arise from Reserve No. 5 and Block No. 51 of the City of Dunedin, may be held in trust for or applied towards the erection and maintenance of a College or other Educational Institution on the said Section four (4). ♦. To provide that the said Board may, until the erection of any such College or Institution, lease all or any part of the said Section four (4), and after tho erection of any such College or Institution any part of the said Section which, in the opinion of the said Board, shall not be required for the actual site of any building, upon such . terms, provisions, and conditions as the said Board may think fit, and in ' particular if the Board so think fit upon the terms, provisions, and conditions set out in the form of lease usually granted by the Board, and to accept surrenders of any such leases. 5. To provide that from the passing of the proposed Bill or Act the whole rents, issues, profits, and proceeds arising from the said Section four (4) shall be applied towards the erection and maintenance of the said College or other Institution. 6. To provide that any of the said rente, • issues, profits, and proceeds may! until applied as aforesaid, be invested in Government, Municipal,. or real property securities for accumulation. A copy of the said Petition and Bill will be deposited in the office of the Examiner of Standing Orders within fourteen days after the commencement of the said session.
