LEVIATHAN GOLD DREDGING COMPANY.
The annual meeting of shareholders in the above was held late yesterday afternoon. Mr J. Wardell, who presided, said that for the past three months or so the dredge had hardly paid working expenses. There had, however, been hopes that at any time they might get on to better ground, but if things did not improve within the next three weeks there would be no alternative but to call shareholders together to consider the position. The report and balance-sheet were adopted, and Messrs A. C. Broad and J. Wardell were elected directors, and Mi James Brown auditor.
