PARLIAMENT.

THIS DAY. . [From Our Own Reporter.] ■ WELLINGTON, September 30. In committee the frozen meat report, through Mr Buddo, was presented. The Acting-Premier made - a statement as to the Bills proposed to bo dropped, as decided at the Caucus that morning, and these were struck off the Order Paper. The Public Accounts Committee reported that £3,000, on account of the Coronation Contingent, was rightly charged to Imprest Account, following the practice adopted for many years. This supports the contention of the Solicitor-General, as against the Auditor-General, who wanted the money charged to unauthorised expenditure.
