city police court. (Before Messrs H. M. Henderson and R. Hudson, justices.} Drunkenness.—John Foreman Mas fined ss; a first offender convicted and discharged. Assault.—Chas. Crawford and Chas. Cunningham were charged with assaulting James Connor so as to cause actual bodily harm. Mr Calvert, appearing for informant, applied for a remand until Friday, and this was granted.—Mr Hanlon, counsel for accused, asked the Bench to fix bail, and their Worships decided to call on' each accused for a recognisance in the sum of £SO and to find sureties or a surety in a like amount. Probate was granted of the wills of James Pearce Croot (Mr Hewitt), Patrick Diamond (Mr Wilkinson), Arthur Ward (Mr Russell), Hannah Annie Sachtler (Mr MacQregor), Geo.
