TSpBCIAL TO THE STAR.] CHRISTCHURCH, June 21. The South Island Poultry Association, at a meeting held last night, appointed a deputation to interview the radway authorities in Wellington on the subject of the carriage of birds to shows by speedy trains. The Taieri Society were instructed to adhere to the dates allotted for their show (June 27 and 28).
