The proportion of reserve to liabilities is 62 90. The notes in circu'ation total £29,379,000 ; public deposits, £10,986,000; other deposits, £38,664,000; Government securities, £14,193,000; and other securities, £27,014,000. Three months’ bills are discounted at 2§ per cent.. Consols are quoted at £96 12s 6d.
