FIRE AT NAPIER.
NAPIER, June 18.
A seven-roomed house in Chaucer road north, owned and occupied by Captain Nelson, was burnt down last evening. The flames had a good hold when discovered, and except a box of clothing, nothing was saved. Insurances: On the buLding, £250; on the furniture, £2oo—both in the South British.
