This Day. Cattle.—l 72 were, yarded, prices ruling firm at last week's rates. Best bullocks, £lO to £ll 17s 6d; medium, £8 to £9 15s; best cows and heifers, £6 10s to £3 2s 6d; medium, £5 to £6 2s 6d. Sheep.—2,963 were penned, prices ruling; about the same as last week Best wethers, 16s to 17s 6d ; t-sLru, heavy, 22s ; medium, 14s to 15s 6d; best awes, 14s fo 15s 9d ; extra heavy, up to 19s 6d : medium, 12s 6d to 13s 9d. Lambs. —669 were yarded, prices ruling slightly lower than last week. Best lambs, to lis and 8s to 9s; others, 1 6s to 7s 6d. pjg S ,—l32 were penned, all classes meeting with a fair demand and selling at prices jn favor of vendors.
