MUSOLINO THE BRIGAND
Extraordinary' scenes were witnessed at the trial of the brigand Musoliuo at Xucca (Italy'). On one occasion a witness named Mana Angela Priolo, having described the murder of her son, turned to the prisoner, and cried out “This brigand killed Hm,” Mnsolino at first, turned pale, but immediately became furious, cursed the woman, and attempted to strike her. He was seized by the gendarmes, and after a terrible s* niggle was thrown to the ground. The President of the Court ordered the ruffian to be taken back to prison. Mnsolino shouted : “ Yes, I will go there, and I will not return.” As
