CYCLING TRACK COMMITTEE. At a meeting of the Dunedin Cycling Track Committee, hold bust evening, the lion, engineer (Mr F. B. Smith) forwasled specifications for tho proposed improvements to the track. The town clerk having reported tlKit the Council could not •supply the tar required, it was resolved to proceed at once to fill in all tho crab holes and make the track fit for riding, and that the other work be put in hand at the earliest possible date. Several subscriptions were received in aid of the track, and a considerable number of donations have been promised.
