APPEAL FOR BANDS.
TO THE EDITOH. Sir,—Be the letter in your yesterday’s issue under above heading, I am willing to make arrangements with the bands that are going to the contest to ran a moonlight excursion with the s.s. Express cm the evenings of Wednesday, 19th, Saturday, 22nd, and Wednesday,” 26th inst, when they should malic a good sum towards the money wanted for their expenses up North. As the moou is full next Saturday, the opportunity is most favorable, and I feel sure they would sell their tickets quickly. Wheat I got up the Missing Fishermens Fund a few years ago, the bands were of great assistance to me, and lam now anxious to reciprocate.—l am, P. J. Sullivan. February 15.
