Mr Barr-Snrith, a wealthy chaen of Ad&laide, has given £I,OOO to the fnnds of the Cremation Society in that city. The Committee have accordingly ordered from Home a suitable furnace for the crematorium, the erection of which will be begun ■withoot delay.
