A fiesh descendant of the Wahabi rulers has captured Riad, the capital of Nejd, whose Ameer had withdrawn from the vicinity of Koweyt in order to defend his own kingdom. The Arab dhows in the Persian Gnlf are using the French flag as a cover for their slave trade. The steamer Kansas, from Boston to Liverpool, landed eighteen cases of smallpox, which liad occurred amongst the cattlemen on board. CONSTANTINOPLE, February 7. Mahmoud Pasha, a son-in-law of the Sultan, who fled from the kingdom on being suspected of intrigues against the Throne, has been sentenced to death in default of appearing to answer the charges preferred against him.
