TORPEDO DESTROYER WRECKED.
MANY LIVES LOST. Pre*« Annotation — By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 19. (Received September 20, at 9.35 a.m.) The torpedo boat destroyer Cobra was wrecked while making a steam trial from the constructors’ yard at Newcastle to Portsmouth. She struck a rock on the Dowsing Shoals, broke in halves, and foundered. Twelve out of the thirty men aboard were rescued alive. Six bodies have been brought to Grimsby.
