A SAD HONEYMOON.

A married lady, eighteen years of age, wife of Mr William S. Wedge, an American', was drowned at Stratford-on-Avon on July 14. Mr and Mrs Wedge were spending their honeymoon at Stratford. .They went on the river, and while the lady was standing up in the boat she lost her balance and fell into the water. Mr Wedge made a desperate attempt to save her, but was unsuccessful, and he himself had a narrow escape. Mr Wedge, who is between forty and fifty years of age, broke his leg about a month ago, and the injury naturally impeded his efforts to save his wife.
