[ dTT POLICE COURT. :i , (Before Messrs J. H. Morrison ana James j, Muir, J.P.s.) Drunkenness.—A first offender was convicted of drunkenness and disdiargcd. Truancy.—The following were. convicted of; neglecting to- send their- children to school tor the statutory number of times (six out of pine), as required by the Act, being fined in each case 2s r—Thomas Anderson (two cases), Joseph Harvey (two cases), William Berwick,, and John B. Thompson. One case, that against, the last-named, was withdrawn oh condition that’ tho child was seat to school regularly
