DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY.

Dix's Gaiety Company gave their last performance in the Alhambra Theatre on Saturday night prior to the management opening with a new company in the Princess's Theatre. All the performers were accorded a hearty send-off by an audience that packed the building to suffocation. Mr Frank Yorke was in great demand, and in a short speech thanked the atidience for the kindrfess that he had always received at their hands, and expressed his great pleasure at having been able to entertain them for so long a period with success. He would never forget Dunedin, and hoped some day to come back again. Mr Dix's 'Babes in the Wood' Company will open their Dunedin season at the Princess's Theatre tomorrow evening.
