A CHILD MURDERESS.
A terrible crime was committed' at Armentiers on December 3 by a girl named Valeciine Dolly, aged onlv eight yean. A companion named Zelie Vezefc, three years old, had a cake which she coveted. In order to possess herself of it Valentine led the child away and threw her into a trunk. She then stabbed her a number of times in the stomach with a shoemaker’s knife* She left her victim for dead, bnt the ‘Child, notwithstanding her terrible wonnda, bad strength enough to get ont of the trunk and make her way to her home, to drop at the feet *of her mother. She cannot live. ‘ Central News.’
