IMPERIAL POLITICS.
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON. May 26. The Hon. William Peel, Unionist, succeeds the Marquis of Lome (now the Duke of Argyll) as member for South Manchester by a majority of 2,039. [This is a largely increased majority for the Unionist party. At the last election the Marquis of Lome a majority of only 78 over the Liberal candidate.]
The feeling is increasing in England that Parliament will bo dissolved in July.
