The Golden Point dredge-master reports that the dredge started working on Wednesday evening last, everything working well; he will not, however, wash up this week. The shares in the Aldinga Gold Dredging Company, Limited, Nelson Creek, Grey River West Coast, were allotted at the office of tho company, Mitchell and Leslie, Crawford street, Dunedin, on \\ ednesday. The capital was more than doubly subscribed. It is considered that there is a good future before this claim. The company was floated by the Zealandia Syndicate, Limited and the prospectus giving reports by Messrs John Don and Norman K. Sligo, their experts, is advertisea in this issue. Mr D. Leslie has been appointed secretary. At, a meeting of directors of the Robinson Gold pledging Company, Cardrona, held at the registered ..dice, of the company, Messrs George Neill and C\, Albert Buildings, Princes street, the chairman re id a report from Messrs Gutten Bros, (consulting engineers) stating that most •satisfactory progress had been made in tho construction of the machinery by the contractors, and that tenders were being invited for the pontoons.
