At the Kew Primitive Mothodißt Church last week Miss Turley, the late organist of the church, received a presentation from the congregation as a recognition of her services. The Rev. P. J. Cossum explained that in view of Miso Turley's upproaching marriage and consequent removal from the district, necessitating her resignation of the post she had so ably filled for so many years, it had been deemed right to express the appreciation in which she and her work were held by a public gathering of this kind. Mr T. Coatsworth having spoken aB representing the Sunday school, in which Mias Turley had been a teachor, Mr C. White as representing the church and congregation, aDd Mr E. South on behalf of the churah choir, the good wishes of the C.E. Society were conveyed by the president. The Rev. P. J. C >ssum then, on behalf of the church, presented Mieß Turley with a silver teapot, cake basket, jelly spoon, and butter knife, suitably inscribed.
