MUDDY BELLEKNOWES.

TO fHB EDITOR. Sir, —Can anyone inform me who is responsible for the terrible condition of the path from Belleknowes through Jubilee Park? After the recent heavy rains it is above the ankles in mud, and practically impassable. Surely one of the councils interested in this district should rectify this sort of thing, as it certainly tends to keep people from settling in this otherwise handsome suburb. Even if they went to the paltry outlay required in metalling the path between Braithwaite'a and Crust's it would make an approach which anyone could get to Belleknowes by. The formation of this path is already laid down. Hoping that something will soon be done in this direction—l am, etc., Mud. i Dunedin, April 10. j
