Twelve thousand five hundred quarters of Victorian wheat, prompt shipment, realised 27s 3d; steamer parcel due in May, 27s 6d. Copper : Spot, 77$ ; three months, 774. Tin, very firm at 112 J. Iron, 64s 6d. Lead, 14§. Java, 12s 4£d. The Bradford wool market is improving. Common sixties, 211; supers, 22£. Butter is quiet and unchanged. Hemp is firm. New Zealand (April and June shipments), £23 sa. At the kauri sales 4,569 caies were offered, and 2,775 sold. Good parcels are steady, common sorts easier; threequarter scraped, 97s Gd ; in stock, 921 cases.
