The famous cricket ground at Lord's (says the ' Daily Telegraph') has been quite transformed during the recent winter. In answer to thl public complaint that unless visitors to the ground were members of the MaryleboneClub, or members'friends, they could obtain no seats at the great matches in the summer, a huge semi-circular bank of iron seats has now been raised around the ground, which will give to the public 12,000 additional free places.
