MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
The ordinary meeting of the Danedin branoh of the Hibernian Society was held on the 4th iQrt., when the balance • sheet for the quarter was read, showing a profit on the various funds. The Public Trustee forwarded the. sum of £SO, bequeathed under the will of the late Bra. W. Cunningham to the branoh. The Sooial Committee reported {heir arrangements. Bros. J. O'Connor and W. Carr were eleeted delegates to the Donedin United Friendly Societies' Dißpe nea- v Two candidates were initiated.
