In coming into harbor in the evening she ran into the training ship Curacoa, which was at anchor in the Barnpool, knocking a hole in her starboard side. The Curacoa began to leak badly, and two dockyard tugs went to her assistance. She was taken into harbor, ana was afterwards docked.
