ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
• The missing seaman who jumped overboard from the ship Oohtertyre in Wellington harbor has made hia whereabouts known, having reaobed ahore safely. A fisherman named Alfred Ledger was found dead in his hut at Gisborne. "The body was in an advanoed stage of decomposition. Eventually ! the current parted them, and Jaeobsen had to struggle ashore alone; The body of Moulder has not been recovered. Jacobsen's pluck was much admired. Emanuel Brae, who has been misßing from Kehon since Friday, has*not yet been heard of, "though active search has been continued. There is little hope now of discovering him alive.
