OLD AGE PENSIONS.
Speaking at Manchester (England), Mr Chamberlain said that before the present Ministry retired he hoped something would j.*b done cc acoht in making provision tor old a'ge pensions. At a meeting of the Workers' Political Committee held last night it was decided to present the R'ght Hon. R. J. Seddon, the Premier, with an illuminated address, “ in admiration of the able manner in which he got the Old Age Pensions Bill through the Council.”
