CAVERSHAM ST. CLAIR CYCLE CLUB.

TO THE EDITOR. Six, —As a cyclist, and being anxious to join some club, I find there is no cycle club In Caveraham ? Why should that be? I api sure we have plenty of good material out here to support such, and I think the matter only wants a moving spirit. Personally I know of some half-dozen cyclists who would willingly join were there a club out here. Eveiy place almost has one, and why not Caveraham and St. Clair ? I don’t anticipate the slightest difficulty in obtaining, .say, fifty members. The season will soon be on again, so there is no time to lose. Or •opposing we amalgamate with the alreadyformed Caversham Football Club (most of whom cycle). That to my mind would be a good idea. However, having ventilated the matter, 1 will leave it for the present to see how it is received. A most suitable club room can easily be obtained at small cost. Personally 1 will only be too pleased to render aoy assistance in my power to further the forming of a cycle club in Caveraham.—l am, etc.. Cyclist No. 1. ' Caveraham, July 8.
